Colby Zaph, PhD.
Colby is from Regina, Saskatchewan and obtained his B.Sc. in Biochemistry from the University of Saskatchewan in 1995. After taking the Biology of Parasitism summer course at the Marine Biological Laboratory in Woods Hole, MA, he obtained his PhD at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA working with Phil Scott on CD4 T cell memory during leishmaniasis. He then stayed at Penn for his postdoctoral work with David Artis, focusing on the regulation of mucosal immunity to helminth infection. He moved to Monash University in 2015 after 7 years at the University of British Columbia. He recently scored 4 goals in one game in his over 40 hockey league and won the Best Defenseman at the 2017 Melbourne Masters hockey tournament. Here is his "professional" website.
